Position: Teacher, Physical Education (PE)

PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE) TEACHER

Salaried Exempt: $61,354 - $76,693/year for CREDENTIALED teachers - dependent on experience

Non-Credentialed pay scale to be determined based on education and relatable work experience
Full time, year round position – Monday through Friday

Your role s and responsibilities:

Teach PE classes to Grades 7-12 in a psychiatric residential treatment setting
Design learning activities that will relate to students – grades 7 through 12
Monitor and maintain legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications Your skills will include:

Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor; who thrives working with adolescent boys
The ability and interest to work with students at different grade and skill levels
Preferred Secondary Utah Teaching Certification in Physical Education - NOT REQUIRED
Preference for a Special Education endorsement - NOT REQUIRED
Two years' teaching experience in general or special education populations preferred
