Hours:

Day shift.

Compensation:
Hourly base pay $16.59–$24.86 per hour, varying within the range based on location and experience. Eligibility for commission and incentive programs.

Location:

Must work at a specified Cox facility; no remote option.

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for resolving client issues, ranging from simple to broad‑scope accounts, collaborating with auction teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and/or discrepancies, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate sales vehicle run processes and maintain direct communication with other auction departments to ensure appropriate movement, organization, and timely completion of reconditioning services.
  • Build positive relationships with assigned clients, examine vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality, complete estimates for reconditioning to improve vehicle value, coordinate and approve reconditioning services, and conduct condition‑report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in condition‑report data and vehicle inspection, identifying past paint, body repairs, frame damage, PDR, etc.; educate and act as liaison for clients on auction processes and recommend Manheim/CAI products and services.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, maintain professionalism in client relationships, and resolve client issues promptly.
  • Coordinate redemptions, ensure proper documentation, and comply with PII policies while delivering exceptional service.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy per client SLA.
  • Apply NAAA guidelines for proper placement of vehicle announcements and/or brands.
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal business platforms proficiently.
  • Follow safety and health procedures, model safety behaviors, and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED plus 3 years of related experience; OR bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline plus 5 years of related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning and/or general auto‑body knowledge.
  • Self‑starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team‑based interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical and mental ability to perform duties within required time frames.
  • Position involves 70% outside work and 30% in‑office administrative tasks.
Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold. Moderate noise level. Risks and hazards such as sharp metal, broken glass, and hazardous chemicals. Must be able to perform duties under these conditions.

Background Check & Drug Testing
