Med Water Systems is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team in Woods Cross, Utah!

Position Summary
Responsible for all recruiting functions. Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support departmental development, employee relations, and training.
Primary Responsibilities
- Adhere to legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Perform the recruiting efforts for the Utah and Ohio locations: ATS management, schedule interviews, participate in interviews as needed, communicate with candidates, employment offers, preemployment screenings, and job file creation and maintenance. Coordinate with temporary agencies and third-party recruiters as needed.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Keep records of benefit plan participation and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Guide supervisors through performance management and mediate conflicts. Participate in investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Administer benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
- Partner with the finance department on the administration of payroll and related adjustments.
- Investigate workplace accidents, prepare reports, maintain files, and claim coordination.
- Maintain the HRIS.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience.
- HR Certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft software and Human Resources Information Systems - ADP experience a plus.
