Overview
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Woods Cross, UT is looking for a Hydroblaster Technician to work at various customer locations and join their safety‑conscious team. The Technician will set up and assist with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other related tasks. This role represents HPC-Industrial in building lasting relationships with clients and offers an opportunity for transitioning military personnel to leverage their skills in a civilian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment and associated tools.
- Operate special equipment such as Ultra High‑Pressure pumps, chemicals cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
- Examine surfaces post‑cleaning to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
- Conduct routine and required maintenance on units and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
- Maintain company equipment used on the job.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Travel to various customer locations as required.
- Must possess a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) or be able to obtain one.
- Completed vocational preparation including classroom safety training and on‑the‑job training with relevant experience.
- English language proficiency sufficient to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
- Valid driver’s license in compliance with the company’s driving policy when operating company or personal vehicles on business.
- OSHA certification may be required.
- Knowledgeable in operation of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
