Job Type: Full-Time – Current Vacancy

Salary: $46,500 - $62,300

Position Summary

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the Purchasing Department by managing transactional and administrative procurement activities within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely purchase order processing, accurate ERP system entries, receipt alignment, and documentation control to support manufacturing, maintenance, and operations. The Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining system accuracy and enabling Buyers to focus on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Manage high volumes of transactional work with accuracy
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Resolve PO/receipt/invoice discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness
  • Support cross‑functional coordination between Purchasing, Receiving, Maintenance, and Accounts Payable
Education & Experience
  • Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems required.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
  • Experience creating and managing purchase orders within a structured procurement environment.
  • Understanding of receiving, invoice matching, and three‑way match processes.
  • Familiarity with MRO purchasing processes and inventory control systems.
Knowledge
  • Procurement and purchasing transaction processes
  • ERP purchase order lifecycle management
  • Invoice reconciliation and accounts payable coordination
  • Inventory control and MRO purchasing practices
  • Supplier documentation and record retention standards
Skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong organizational and follow‑through skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong task management and prioritization abilities
  • Problem‑solving skills related to transactional discrepancies
Working Conditions
  • Primarily office‑based environment within a manufacturing facility.
  • Occasional exposure to warehouse or production floor environment.
  • Occasional extended hours may be required based on business needs.
