Plant Controller

Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and performance of the plant, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and control. It includes managing the plant's budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring costs and variances, analyzing financial data, and providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.

• Provides support in reviewing and understanding data related to work centers, routers, costing rollups/analysis, data integrity/reporting, and ongoing decision support as needed.
• Monitors capital and major expense projects.
• Supports inventory management through physical inventories and cycle counting, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Prepares reconciliations, commentary, and journal entries for various transactions and ensures reviews comply with regulatory documentation and approval requirements.
• Manages the annual operating plan working closely with the Product Line Management and Operations team to set targets.
• Prepares and reviews weekly and monthly financial results, establishing both short‑term and long‑term forecasts.
• Analyzes variances and guides the organization toward cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Six or more years of related experience.
• Experience with accounting principles, financial analysis/reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, cost accounting, and inventory management concepts.
• Requires occasional travel (10–15%).

Compensation will be based on experience and skills. The expected salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $155,000. Additional compensation may include bonus programs and an employee stock purchase plan.
