- Locate and transport material to the shipping area
- Prepare and protect loads for shipment
- Label loads, weigh and record weights, and load materials onto trucks
- Perform computer and handheld-unit transactions to ship and receive materials
- Unload incoming vendor materials and deliver them to proper storage areas, including tankers where applicable
- Report and record damage to incoming goods before removing them from trucks
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips
- Obtain materials from storage for shipment and production
- Assist with material handling throughout the plant
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Demonstrates proficiency in material handling, including the ability to transport, label, and record shipments accurately. Maintains a clean work environment while assisting with various duties as assigned by supervisors.
