Location: Woodstock, CT (projects throughout northeastern CT and nearby MA)
Job Type: Full-time, W-2
OverviewWoodstock Building Associates is a custom home design-build firm seeking a Carpenter to support residential construction projects. This role involves working with a team to complete high-quality building and finishing work across a variety of custom homes.
Responsibilities- Assist with residential construction projects under the direction of a lead carpenter or supervisor
- Perform tasks including demolition, light framing, finish carpentry, and painting
- Follow project plans, specifications, and local building codes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Travel to job sites as needed
- 2 to 4+ years of residential carpentry or construction experience
- Knowledge of job site safety practices
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet company safety requirements
- Salary: $40,000 to $55,000 annually, based on experience
