Billing Analyst

Summary

HUB International is looking for an analytic and innovative Billing Analyst. This role is responsible for managing all functions related to the billing process and billing support of our clients. Excellent analytical, organizational and data management skills are required for this position.

• Perform billing functions for clients and insurance carriers.
• Research, track, and resolve account problems and discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts.
• Post client payments and backup documentation to carrier websites.
• Prepare spreadsheets as needed or requested for analysis.
• Analyze all billing procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate with clients and other departments, resolving issues and providing clarification when necessary.
• Ensure clients’ billing accounts are set up correctly with carriers.
• Manage the needs and expectations of the client proactively.
• Provide clients with excellent customer service.

• High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years of finance, accounting, and/or benefits related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent client relationship skills; strong customer‑service orientation and results‑driven approach.
• High level of integrity and dependability.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and a working knowledge of employee benefits administration software applications.
