We are seeking staff and senior accountants who are looking to build a long-term career in public accounting. Responsibilities:
- Preparing compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP
- Preparation and/or review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filings
- Tax research and planning
- Communicating effectively with clients and meeting critical deadlines
- Managing or assisting with projects including but not limited to month-end/year-end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- Enrolled Agent or CPA a plus
- Working knowledge of Ultra Tax and CS Professional Suite, Quickbooks, and construction related software packages, a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience serving clients in construction and real estate industries is beneficial
- Strong client relationship skills
