Construction Project Manager – General Contracting Division – Grocery Department

We have an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager in our General Contracting Division – Grocery Department to be based out of our Woodstock, GA office location.

The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse and complex construction endeavors. The role will involve coordinating various project elements, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the project team to complete an assigned project on time, on/under budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline project tasks and delegate accordingly.
  • Evaluate new project estimates, complete scope buy-outs while managing budgets.
  • Conduct cost analysis and manage budget for the project.
  • Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
  • Delegate work and assignments to team members based on expertise, experience, and time constraints.
  • Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and recommend mitigation.
  • Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the company, customers, and subcontractors/vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Understand revenue recognition, process change orders, and adjust budgets as needed.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience overseeing complex commercial construction projects valued at $1M+.
  • Experience in estimating/quantity take-off is highly desirable.
  • Experience in all scopes of work on a commercial construction project, including MEPs and site work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore, or other project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
  • Ability to work extended periods at a desk and at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
