3LP Engineering is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Woodstock, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a wide variety of residential and light commercial projects while taking ownership of the design process from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will have structural design experience, a strong understanding of residential wood framing, and the ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver practical, code‑compliant engineering solutions.

• Design structural systems for residential and light commercial projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, framing plans, foundation designs, and construction documents.
• Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review plans for code compliance and engineering standards.
• Perform occasional local site visits to verify existing conditions and support project execution.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, contractors, and clients throughout the design process.
• Assist with engineering solutions for renovations, additions, repairs, and new construction.
• Maintain accurate project documentation while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

• $90,000-$100,000, depending on experience.
• Annual performance reviews with potential 3-5% salary increases.
• Annual performance bonus.
• 3% IRA match.
• Company-provided computer and tools for site visits.
• Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM).
• Minimal weekend work.
• Local site visits only.
