Position OverviewWe are hiring a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role is ideal for a skilled imaging professional seeking flexible scheduling while maintaining meaningful patient interaction.
What You’ll Do- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, pelvic, extremities, vascular, and other physician-ordered studies)
- Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols
- Document findings accurately in EHR systems
- Provide preliminary image review for physician evaluation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) – Required
- 1–2 years of clinical or outpatient sonography experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Experience with PACS and electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
