Associate Agent

Job Description

The Associate agent opportunity is designed for business professionals interested in becoming Farmers® agency owners. Upon completion of the business requirements, associate agents have an opportunity to take advantage of an agency ownership opportunity. Associate agents may have capital requirements reduced or waived based on achieving certain criteria set by Farmers®. Compensation is paid to associate agents based on monthly productions.

• Address client inquiries and concerns promptly
• Perform comprehensive policy reviews
• Identify opportunities to enhance coverage
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation
• Actively engage in training sessions and workshops
• Enhance insurance knowledge and sales skills

• Georgia Property & Casualty license
• Georgia Life & Health license
• You must have either your Georgia Property/Casualty or Life/Health license or both.
• You must live in the State of Georgia.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background check.
• Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented with a passion for helping clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
