Express Vets Plus Woodstock is our full-service veterinary hospital in Woodstock, GA, opened in April 2025. We provide comprehensive care including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and sick-patient care—supported by a dedicated team and an efficient, high-quality approach to medicine.

Role Description

Express Vets Plus Woodstock is hiring a Part-Time Veterinarian for our full-service location in Woodstock, GA. This is an on-site role with a consistent schedule of:

  • 2 half-day (9am-2pm) Saturdays per month

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing wellness and preventative care (vaccines, parasite prevention, exams)
  • Diagnosing and treating sick visits (skin, eye, ear, GI, etc.)
  • Managing chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, arthritis, allergies)
  • Performing/overseeing diagnostics and lab work as needed
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver efficient, compassionate patient care
  • Maintaining thorough medical records and clear client communication
  • Opportunity to perform dentals/extractions and routine surgeries (based on interest/comfort level)

Qualifications
  • DVM degree and an active (or eligible) Georgia veterinary license
  • Proficiency in preventative care, routine exams, and case management
  • Ability to diagnose and treat common illnesses and manage chronic disease

    Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • High attention to detail with medical records and patient care quality
  • Prior general practice experience preferred, but not required
