The Maintenance Spray Technician is responsible for performing lawncare service work that includes chemicals for weekly maintenance customers. The Spray Technician must be able to train other crew members on how they can identify when the Spray Technician is needed. This position requires a detailed knowledge of the products and services the Spray Technician provides so that it can be communicated to the customer clearly.
Applicant must have a valid driver's license, good driving history, and pass a drug screening.
- Perform lawncare service work including fertilizing, spraying, liming, aerations, and seeding
- Train new employees to increase their knowledge and ability to assist you as the Spray Technician
- Manage productivity
- Licensing/recertification
- Organize and manage route assignments
- Oversee daily production and performance
- Customer service
- Manage materials inventory
- MSDS binder
- Be able to use the following equipment:
Be able to use the following equipment:
- Measure Wheels
- Spray Wands
- Back Packs
- Soil Probes
- Spreaders
- Hoses
- Covers and Screens
- pH Meters
- Aerators
- Spill Kits
- Take care of the warehouse/fill station by keeping supplies, tools, and equipment clean and organized
- Complete all assigned tasks to specified quality levels by their agreed deadline
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain and use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Be familiar with the company’s maintenance program and guidelines
- Communicate to the Field Service Supervisor any concerns or issues noted on current maintenance customer properties
- Read, write and speak in English
- Have a valid Georgia driver’s license, an insurable driving record, and qualify to drive company vehicles
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, supervise, and set priorities
- Demonstrate ability to train others
- Attend regular department meetings
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Be aware of the safety of the public and fellow employees
- Report all unsafe practices or conditions
- Take proper care of tools to avoid loss or misuse
- Wear appropriate uniform clothing as ascribed by company standards
- Have reliable transportation to and from office or assigned job site
- Report to work on time
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Manage time appropriately for all tasks
- Respect fellow employees and management at all times
- Fill out and submit any paperwork
- Report all accidents and personal injuries
- Maintain a good attitude during work
- Only speak positively about Miller Landscape, its’ employees, customers, and competitors
