Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join their mission-driven, collaborative finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of financial reporting, analysis, system improvements, and hands-on accounting work. • Lead monthly financial reporting, including analysis of variances, trends, and organizational performance.
• Manage cash and investment accounts, including bank reconciliations and segregation-of-duties processes.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and support ad hoc financial analysis and process improvements.
• Support the organization’s transition to new accounting systems, starting with Quick Books Online and later migrating to platforms such as Net Suite or Sage Intacct.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (some flexibility).
• 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong background in financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Quick Books and intermediate Excel skills (pivots, formulas).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

• Hybrid schedule: typically 1–2 days per week onsite, with flexibility the rest of the week.
