Description
St. Mary Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic sixth-grade teacher with an emphasis in ELA to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a permanent, full-time position. St. Mary School offers a long-standing Catholic tradition, living our mission of faith, compassion, and community in educating our students. Our school is known for small class sizes, a close-knit, family-like environment, and a deep commitment to Catholic identity and values.
We are looking for a caring and capable educator who can create a structured, nurturing classroom while forming students both spiritually and academically.
- Teach a 6th-grade homeroom class of approximately 15 students, ELA for 7th grade
- Subjects taught:
Religion, Math, ELA, History - Collaborate with a dedicated faculty and supportive leadership team
- Plan and deliver instruction aligned with school curriculum and standards
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings across all subjects
- Foster a classroom environment built on faith, joy, and respect
- Participate actively in the life of the school community, including Mass and prayer
This is a full-time, salaried position in a truly special school community, with the opportunity to make a long-term impact on students’ lives.
Salary Description
$30,000-$50,000 depending on experience; benefits included

Requirements- Holds a Professional Educator’s License or a Bachelor’s degree, with a willingness to pursue licensure
- Has experience teaching or working with middle school students
- Is a practicing Catholic with knowledge of the Catholic faith
- Has strong classroom management and a heart for Catholic education
