School Psychologist

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Provide support services to elementary school students.
• Coordinate or serve as a member of a diagnostic team and educational planning and placement committee.
• Provide psychological and sociological assessment information related to planning for children with special education needs.
• Perform casework services with parents to assist students, increase parental understanding and participation, and inform them of appropriate resources.
• Write and implement individual education plans and have familiarity with response to intervention.
• Maintain accurate and timely records to monitor student progress.
• Assess student progress towards targets and standards, providing feedback to students, parents, and administration.
• Communicate and collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes.
• Use various formal and informal assessment strategies to support continuous student development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building Principal.
