Direct Support Professional

Creed Medical is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this fulfilling position, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independent and meaningful lives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting skill development, and fostering community engagement. As a DSP, you will work closely with individuals to empower them to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

• Provide assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management
• Encourage social interaction and participation in community-based activities
• Implement individualized support plans to promote personal development and self-sufficiency
• Document and track individual progress, providing feedback to the support team
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
• Work collaboratively with families and other team members to coordinate care and support

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in human services or a related field is a plus
• Experience in direct care roles or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred, or must be obtained shortly after hiring
