IT Technician - Limited Part-Time

IT TECHNICIAN – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time technical position with the Information Technology Department.

This position is responsible for assisting the Information Technology Department by providing support to end users through troubleshooting and correcting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems; installing PCs and peripherals; and configuring other electronic devices. The work is performed under the supervision of the Information Technology Director.

• High School diploma/equivalent with previous experience working with computer hardware and software installations.
• Must be familiar with Windows 11 operating systems.

• Basic understanding of networks and client/server communications.

The pay range for this limited part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $19.07 - $20.97/hour depending on qualifications. The position will work no more than 20 hours per week on average. There are no additional benefits with the exception of Accrued Sick Leave – earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment.
