IT TECHNICIAN
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time technical position with the Information Technology Department.
Job SummaryThis position is responsible to assist the Information Technology Department with providing support to the end users by troubleshooting and correcting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems; installing PC's and peripherals; and configuring other electronic devices. The work is performed under the supervision of the Information Technology Director.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
High School diploma/equivalent with previous experience working with computer hardware and software installations.
Must be familiar with Windows 11 operating systems.
Preferred QualificationsBasic understanding of networks and client/server communications.
Salary & BenefitsThe pay range for this limited part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $19.07 - $20.97/hour depending on qualifications. The position will work no more than 20 hours per week on average. There are no additional benefits with the exception of Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment.
This position is not eligible for a work-related immigration visa sponsorship.
