Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 per year
OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of supply chain operations across multiple manufacturing locations in Illinois and Wisconsin. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence while supporting business objectives and maintaining strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure favorable terms and compliance
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment while minimizing excess stock
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the supply chain
- Analyze supply chain metrics and generate reports to support data-driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Manage and mentor a small team of supply chain and logistics professionals
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing vendor relationships
- Proficiency with ERP and supply chain management software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between Illinois and Wisconsin locations as needed
- APICS/CSCP certification or similar preferred
- Salary Range: $85,000–$100,000 per year
- Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
- Paid Time Off: Personal Time Off (PTO) offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours per year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave; PTO and holidays prorated based on hire date
