Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Walworth County JailWe’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our daytime healthcare team at the Walworth County Jail. This position may also be filled by a Registered Nurse (RN). Whether you’re experienced in correctional healthcare or ready for an exciting new challenge, you’ll find supportive leadership, a collaborative team, and meaningful work every day.
What You’ll Do- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to ensure safe, quality patient care
- Promote continuity of care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and policies
- Sign On & Retention Bonus Available
- Consistent 12‑hour day shifts
- Rotating schedule that includes every other weekend
- Practice independently while supported by experienced leadership
