Accounting Supervisor

CF Industries seeks an Accounting Supervisor to lead core accounting operations within our Chemicals division in the Finance, Accounting & Administration department. This role oversees general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. You'll supervise a small accounting team, review journal entries, support audits, and partner with operations to analyze costs and margins.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with GAAPMaintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and explanations
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams on cost, margin, and variance analyses
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
