SITE-BASED OKLAHOMA ROLE | SIEMENS LEVEL 4/5 EQUIVALENT
About the RoleSky Climber Renewables (SCR) is seeking experienced Siemens Wind Turbine Service Technicians to support scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting activities at utility-scale wind farms in Oklahoma.
This role is intended for technicians with Siemens service capability equivalent to Level 4 or Level
5. Successful candidates will safely complete scheduled maintenance, corrective service work, inspections, and related documentation while supporting more advanced troubleshooting activities as directed.
These are long-term, site-based positions supporting Siemens 2.3 platform turbines near Canton and Woodward.

- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective service activities
- Support troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, communication, and control system issues
- Assist senior troubleshooting technicians with fault isolation and turbine return-to-service activities
- Follow Siemens procedures, customer requirements, site rules, and SCR safety standards
- Apply site-specific Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain safe work control
- Use turbine software, electrical schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation as required for assigned work
- Inspect tools and equipment and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Accurately complete work orders, inspection records, service reports, and other required documentation
- Identify, communicate, and escalate technical or safety concerns promptly
- Operate company and customer vehicles safely and responsibly
- Participate in rotating on-call support as required
- Siemens wind turbine service knowledge and capability equivalent to Level 4 or Level 5
- Demonstrated ability to safely complete scheduled wind turbine maintenance
- Experience supporting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities
- Working knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret service instructions, technical documentation, and basic electrical schematics
- Proficiency using common hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and computers required for turbine service
- Ability to produce accurate, legible work orders and service documentation
- Strong attention to safety, quality, schedule adherence, and teamwork
- Experience supporting Siemens 2.3-93 or Siemens 2.3-101 platforms
- Current or prior Siemens maintenance training applicable to the supported platform
- Converter system exposure, including ABB or Converteam systems
- Prior experience in a site-based wind farm operations and maintenance environment
- Consistently follow SCR, customer, OSHA, and site-specific policies and requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive, team-oriented approach
- Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and respect for coworkers, customers, and local communities
- Work independently within assigned capability and collaboratively when tasks require team execution
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, technicians, customers, and technical support personnel
- Accept coaching and pursue continued technical development
This position utilizes a rotating four-day workweek intended to support work-life balance while maintaining daily site coverage. Teams alternate schedules to provide operational support Monday through Friday and participate in an organized on-call rotation for weekend coverage.
Physical &Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to climb wind turbines vertically 300 feet or more
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and work in physically demanding environments
