Title: Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Woodward, OK
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-call required: 1–2 nights per week and one weekend per month
Job Responsibilities:
Perform cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) including bubble studies and contrast exams
Conduct a wide range of vascular studies, including carotid, arterial and venous exams, segmental pressures, renal artery duplex, and venous insufficiency studies
Perform general, OB/GYN, pediatric, neonatal, and small parts ultrasound exams as needed
Provide imaging support in ED, ICU, inpatient, outpatient, and portable settings
Assist with procedural guidance such as paracentesis and thoracentesis
Utilize Doppler, duplex, color flow, and M-mode imaging techniques
Ensure patient safety through proper isolation precautions and PPE
Document studies accurately using Epic and maintain high image quality standards
Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary teams
Required Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of echocardiography and vascular ultrasound experience
ARDMS or RDCS certification
BLS certification
Ability to perform echo, vascular, and Doppler studies
Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations
Willingness to take on-call shifts as scheduled
Preferred Skills & Requirements:
RVT certification (ARDMS or RDCS)
Experience with high-risk OB, pediatric, and neonatal ultrasound
Community hospital experience
Prior charge experience
Experience with procedural ultrasound and small parts imaging
Familiarity with Epic charting
Experience with Canon ultrasound systems
