Title: Inpatient Pharmacist

Location: Woodward, OK

Contract Length: 12-week contract

Shift Details: Days | 5x8s | Primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (alternating with 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

On-call: required (up to 3 nights per week)

Weekend coverage: Every third weekend

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services supporting acute care patients across all age groups, including neonates through geriatrics.
• Perform clinical dosing and medication management, including anticoagulation, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and high‑alert medications.
• Prepare and dispense IV medications, including IV piggybacks, IV push medications, antibiotics, and chemotherapy agents.
• Compound medications using proper sterile technique and safe handling of hazardous drugs and antineoplastic agents.
• Support outpatient infusion and chemotherapy preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Utilize Epic for order verification, documentation, and workflow.
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs.

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience.
• Pharm
  
  D or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Active state pharmacy license.
• RPh credential.
• Experience with Epic.
• Experience preparing IV medications and supporting acute‑care pharmacy operations.
• Ability to take on‑call shifts and weekend coverage.
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy duties and outpatient infusion preparation.

• Chemotherapy/Hazardous Drug Certification.
• IV Certification.
• Experience with chemotherapy compounding and antineoplastic drug packaging.
• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic pharmacy settings.
• Pediatric dosing experience.
