Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Woodward, OK
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: Days | 5x8s | Primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (alternating with 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

• On-call required (up to 3 nights per week)

• Weekend coverage:
  Every third weekend

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services supporting acute care patients across all age groups, including neonates through geriatrics

• Perform clinical dosing and medication management , including anticoagulation, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and high-alert medications

• Prepare and dispense IV medications , including IV piggybacks, IV push medications, antibiotics, and chemotherapy agents

• Compound medications using proper sterile technique and safe handling of hazardous drugs and antineoplastic agents

• Support outpatient infusion and chemotherapy preparation as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy

• Utilize Epic for order verification, documentation, and workflow

• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs

Required Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience

• Pharm
  
  D or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

• Active state pharmacy license

• RPh credential

• Experience with Epic

• Experience preparing IV medications and supporting acute care pharmacy operations

• Ability to take on-call shifts and weekend coverage

• Experience with inpatient pharmacy duties and outpatient infusion preparation

Preferred Skills & Requirements:

• Chemotherapy/Hazardous Drug Certification

• IV Certification

• Experience with chemotherapy compounding and antineoplastic drug packaging

• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic pharmacy settings

• Pediatric dosing experience
