Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Woodward, OK
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: Days | 5x8s | Primarily 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (alternating with 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
On-call required (up to 3 nights per week)
Weekend coverage:
Every third weekend
Job Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient pharmacy services supporting acute care patients across all age groups, including neonates through geriatrics
Perform clinical dosing and medication management , including anticoagulation, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and high-alert medications
Prepare and dispense IV medications , including IV piggybacks, IV push medications, antibiotics, and chemotherapy agents
Compound medications using proper sterile technique and safe handling of hazardous drugs and antineoplastic agents
Support outpatient infusion and chemotherapy preparation as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
Utilize Epic for order verification, documentation, and workflow
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs
Required Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience
Pharm
D or Bachelor's Degree in PharmacyActive state pharmacy license
RPh credential
Experience with Epic
Experience preparing IV medications and supporting acute care pharmacy operations
Ability to take on-call shifts and weekend coverage
Experience with inpatient pharmacy duties and outpatient infusion preparation
Preferred Skills & Requirements:
Chemotherapy/Hazardous Drug Certification
IV Certification
Experience with chemotherapy compounding and antineoplastic drug packaging
Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic pharmacy settings
Pediatric dosing experience
