Project Engineer, IT Project Manager

CF Industries is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of software projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will translate business needs into technical requirements, coordinate developers and architects, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include project planning, backlog refinement, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communication. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, support continuous improvement, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to products with global impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of software and IT projects
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and architects
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets, escalating issues as needed
• Ensure delivered solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with architecture standards
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote best practices in SDLCCollaborate with stakeholders to provide status updates and manage expectations
• Support continuous improvement of tools, processes, and engineering practices
• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
