Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Hospice​/Palliative Care

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience, with a Monday‑Friday schedule and on‑call responsibilities.

• Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN hospice experience required
• OASIS documentation experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Must be flexible with assigned territory coverage

• Home hospice setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Average daily caseload of 5–7 patients
• Requires OASIS documentation experience
• Uses HCHB (Home Care Home Base) EMR — experience required
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00), Monday–Friday with the possibility of weekend work
• On-call responsibilities required — details to be discussed during the interview
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
• 13-week contract
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel pay rate
• An iPad is provided for use during the assignment — a personal cell phone is not required
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• All time‑off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required
• A full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained is required
