Must-Have:
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room.
First-timers are accepted.
Candidates must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
Description:The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Emergency Room.
The shift will be three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.On-call duty will be required on a rotating basis with weekend coverage.
The average daily census is 25-30 patients.
The patient ratio for days and nights is 2.5, with weekends having a 1:5 ratio.
Candidates should be familiar with emergency care protocols and practices.
Essential skills include arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressor administration, and care of ventilated patients.
Candidates must be able to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
Experience with pediatric and adult emergency care is required.
All submitted candidates must hold the required certifications listed above.
No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted throughout the duration of the contract.
Candidates must attach a valid driver's license with their application.
Travelers must provide proof of residence exceeding 75 miles from the facility.
Gaps of three months or more in employment history require an explanation.
References from two supervisory personnel are mandatory for consideration.
