OverviewPosition Type Part Time Category Retail
DescriptionMust be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Primary Job Functions
- Run POS (point of sale) register
- Greeting customers upon entry of store
- Customer service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)
- Keep up with store promotions and special events
- Understanding store layout and location of products
- Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise
- Following store procedures, opening and closing
- Answer telephone
Secondary
Job Functions:
- Help load merchandise for customers
- Help check in freight
- Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
- Ability to count change back
- Retail cashier experience is a plus
- Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
- Professional telephone skills
- Knowledge of merchandise
- Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to detail, accuracy is key
