Job OverviewThe Person al Banker Associate has responsibilities as both a teller and a personal banker. The Associate must efficiently process a variety of customer transactions, generate business, and deepen relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high‑quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking‑center staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer‑focused environment.
- Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs.
- Promote financial products and services.
- Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, processing consumer loan/credit line requests for customers.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures.
- Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions.
- Support other employees as needed.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications
- Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive‑driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
- Minimum of six months cash‑handling and/or Point‑of‑Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment.
- Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the bank’s expense.
- Ability to generate referrals, including making on‑site visits with local businesses.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
- Strong work ethic and high integrity.
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
- Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; knowledge of bank services and products.
- Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills.
This position requires long periods of standing or sitting as well as typing and repetitive motion. Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds.
Hours of Operations- Monday – Friday from 7:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
- Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (Full‑time employees are scheduled for 40 hours per week within these time frames).
- Candidates must be available to work weekend hours.
High School or better.
ExperienceMinimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive‑driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
Minimum of six months cash‑handling experience in a retail sales environment.
