Support assigned Account Executives and Third‑Party Originator sales management. Responsible for assisting with tasks related to quality loan processing, reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards and ensuring completeness of submission. Provide backup assistance for assigned Account Executive(s) in their absence, including assisting brokers and resolving issues. Support marketing efforts and work with brokers to facilitate timely loan closings. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations where the company operates.

The target pay range for this position is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour plus a monthly incentive plan.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform all data input, data management, and other administrative tasks so that assigned Account Executives can focus on sales activities.
  • Enter new contacts into the system and input loan applications manually.
  • Schedule Zoom sales calls with new brokers and existing clients.
  • Organize and input loan information received into the Loan Origination System, gathering loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.
  • Monitor incoming documents, verifying data collected by Account Executives.
  • Pull or verify credit reports and flood certificates as needed.
  • Send welcome mails to new accounts and loan officers.
  • Send thank‑you emails to brokers after closing.
  • Set up company‑approved Linked In marketing for daily posts.
  • Review all expiring locks to ensure extensions and review unlocked loans, sending reminders to lock brokers.
  • Reach out to brokers regarding the month’s closings to push condition submittal and ensure the account manager is aware of any updates or discovered items; note findings in the conversation log.
  • Proactively monitor pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
  • Serve as point person on marketing projects, lead‑management assignments, and other projects intended to increase assigned Account Executives’ sales, personal branding, and lead‑generation and conversion goals; coordinate in‑person and online marketing events.
  • In conjunction with sales management and assigned Account Executives, identify methods to expand assigned Account Executive(s)’ business model.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance with Company policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
  • Prepare reports for Account Executives and sales management.
  • Develop individual relationships with assigned Account Executives to determine any additional assistance that may be needed on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Complete various tasks and assignments and assist departmental support staff when requested by sales management.
What You’ll Need
  • Extremely high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in the use of Carrington’s loan origination system and other systems used in the mortgage origination process, or the ability to learn systems quickly.
  • High proficiency with office machines such as computer, copier, fax machine.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to handle detailed assignments.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy concerning borrower confidential information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) years’ mortgage industry experience required.
  • Previous customer service, concierge, or customer experience experience required.
  • Previous Retail Loan Processing or Wholesale Account Manager experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
