Automotive Technician

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to work in our service team located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sign‑on bonus: $1,500 (first‑time hires). Pay Range: $17.50 – $26.30 per hour with a flat‑rate performance‑based compensation model.

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Conduct inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Carry out tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles to confirm service quality.
• Obtain or maintain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications in at least one of the A1–A8 categories within the first two years of employment. The company covers test fees and offers a bonus for each test passed.

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repairs.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.

• Two or more years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates or assessments.
• ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
