Position Summary
The Enterprise Strategy team supports the development of CVS Health’s long‑term strategy, connecting business units to priorities and exploring growth opportunities. The Lead Director, Enterprise Strategy will pair with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to shape key strategic initiatives and enable execution of growth opportunities across Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness.
Responsibilities- Shape and execute strategic initiatives that drive long‑term growth and revenue acceleration.
- Partner with business stakeholders across core units to align priorities and translate strategy into action plans.
- Leverage market insights and internal expertise to chart the organization’s future path across a vertically integrated health‑care system.
- Simplify complex, cross‑functional challenges and present findings to executive leadership.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of transformative projects, ensuring quality analysis and zero‑defect outcomes.
- 10+ years of experience in a fast‑moving profession, such as management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, or M&A.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategy development and execution for transformational projects from concept to completion.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a record of zero‑defect analysis.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, capable of framing complex concepts for senior audiences.
- Proven executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
- Comfort with ambiguity, simplifying complex problems, and managing competing priorities in a matrixed environment.
- Working knowledge of payor, provider, and product segments in health and pharmacy.
- Growth mindset and commitment to deepening expertise across the healthcare industry.
- Experience building and evaluating financial models.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Pay range: $100,000 – $231,540 annually. The role is eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and equity awards. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement savings options, and wellness programs.
