Job Purpose and Summary
At CVS Health, the retail business is a critical part of our strategy. The Manager of Price & Value Business Ops & Strategy will facilitate the delivery of Price & Value transformation initiatives, supporting strategy and roadmap development, management, and storytelling. The role involves central management and execution of the Price & Value team operations and communications, developing and facilitating management routines to evaluate milestones and key performance metrics.
PrimaryJob Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop robust strategies and execute a comprehensive short‑ and long‑term transformation strategy roadmap to meet business objectives.
- Engage with peers and stakeholder groups on future processes and capabilities, adapting plans as needed.
- Monitor macro and micro trends in the retail environment to evaluate the competitive landscape and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Collaborate with Price and Value teams to innovate the holistic price, promotion, and coupon strategy, delivering a compelling value proposition.
- Manage and drive implementation of strategic project plans, building processes and timelines to ensure cross‑functional alignment and accountability.
- Develop tools and processes for seamless project and program management, fostering alignment and delivering results.
- Create and monitor KPIs to track progress, communicate status regularly to internal and external stakeholders, and institute improvement measures as needed.
- Prepare key strategic updates, presentations, and content for senior leadership meetings.
- Build strong relationships with cross‑functional peers and leaders in Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, and DDAT to support strategy implementation.
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity across the team, recommending solutions that break down barriers to achieve cross‑functional performance milestones.
- 5+ years’ experience in business strategy, retail, or digital customer experience.
- 5+ years’ experience influencing without authority and distilling complex ideas into simple frameworks.
- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives with significant impact.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and white space; passport to navigate change.
- Passion for retail, customer experience, and digital or IT project management for product design/customer experience innovation.
- Strong interpersonal, time‑management, and communication skills across formal and informal settings.
- Self‑directed, highly motivated, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Up to 10% travel for in‑office collaboration and store visits.
Pay Range$66,330.00 – $ (base salary, varies with experience, education, geography).
