Role OverviewCVS Health is formalizing a new Digital Content Studio that will unify storytelling, production, and creative capabilities to support , enterprise social media, and additional enterprise distribution channels. Within this new organization, the Story Hub will serve as the Studio’s strategic editorial and story‑development engine responsible for identifying, curating, and shaping the stories that fuel content creation across the enterprise for external audiences.
The Lead Director will build, lead, and scale this new capability, establishing the operating model, governance, workflows, and standards for both creative production and enterprise storytelling. The role will directly manage a Creative Lead (motion graphics/design) and a Senior Producer, and will collaborate closely with channel partners and business units to ensure high‑quality, impactful content that reflects CVS Health’s purpose and value.
- Digital Content Studio Leadership – establish, lead and scale the Digital Content Studio, define vision, structure, workflows, and long‑term capability growth; manage and mentor the Creative Lead and Senior Producer; oversee creation of digital content for , enterprise social channels and emerging platforms; develop scalable production processes; ensure content aligns with brand, accessibility and performance standards.
- Integrated Story Hub Capability – build and lead the Story Hub; create systems and governance for story intake, evaluation, prioritization and lifecycle management; source high‑value stories; maintain a centralized database; ensure collaboration between Story Hub and creative/production teams.
- Cross‑Functional Partnership – serve as the primary partner to channel owners overseeing , enterprise social media and additional distribution channels; translate channel and campaign needs into editorial pipelines, content plans and creative briefs; build relationships across the enterprise; provide strategic counsel on storytelling, creative execution and cross‑channel activation.
- Governance & Operational Excellence – establish governance frameworks covering content review, approvals, workflows, storage and usage; build playbooks, templates and documentation for consistent content development; drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency; implement tracking systems for editorial status, production workflows and asset delivery.
- Culture Building & Enablement – develop and enable a network of “story champions”; partner with business units to embed storytelling practices; promote a shared responsibility model where teams contribute stories and insights.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement – establish key performance indicators for Story Hub and Studio operations; report insights and trends to leadership and channel partners; use data to optimize editorial strategy, production operations and content effectiveness.
- 10+ years of experience in content development/strategy, creative operations and production, digital communications, or editorial leadership.
- Experience building, formalizing or scaling creative or content capabilities, including process and workflow design.
- Strong background managing creative and production teams with video, design and multimedia work.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with digital channel owners and translate strategy into content plans.
- Proven experience managing and developing creative and production talent.
- Strong stakeholder‑management, relationship‑building and organizational skills.
- Familiarity and fluency with the U.S. health care landscape, including pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management and/or health insurance sectors.
- Experience launching editorial platforms, content hubs or centralized content operations.
