The Club Access Specialist is the first face that welcomes our Clubhouse members each day. This position works closely with volunteers, parents, and the community to ensure the Club is an enriching, fun, and safe environment. This is a part‑time hourly position, up to 29 hours per week. Day shifts, evening shifts, as well as weekend shifts available.
Duties & Responsibilities- Monitor the front access door to the facility.
- Professionally handles all telephone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner.
- Identify, greet, and direct individuals entering the facility as well as enforcing visitor and volunteer entry policies.
- Make site‑wide announcements regarding Club member pick up notifications, program announcements and crisis communications.
- Oversee and maintain the Daxko Operations database and ensure the integrity of the data.
- Generate membership and attendance records, in addition to other types of reports using the database and other records.
- Accurately complete, collect and record membership fees; generally, assists program staff with the efficient operations of the site.
- Assist with operations as needed in regard to general administrative duties.
- Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED
- Excellent communications and computer skills
- Two (2) years administrative experience at a Boys & Girls Club, school, or other similar environment in an administrative support role preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
- Must be or become certified in CPR, First Aid and AED
- Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, or hear; via computer, telephone, or in person as needed.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
- May be required to work indoors and outdoors in varying environment conditions.
- Successfully pass all BCI requirements
Five (5) Days PTO, increasing in accordance with BGCNRI Policy
