Traveling Associate Dentist

Overview

Associate Dentists provide comprehensive dental services to patients and work closely with a team that includes hygienists, assistants, and supplementary staff.

• Utilize Denta Pro software, digital x‑ray, and Panorex units.
• Use fiber‑optic handpieces.
• Complete yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
• Maintain a patient flow of approximately 10‑12 operative patients and 20‑25 hygiene patients per day.
• Serve a patient base primarily ages 3‑21, with up to 30% adults depending on the location.
• Collaborate with a team that typically includes 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
• Adopt state insurance plans, PPO, and out‑of‑network payer mix.

• Guaranteed base pay of $800/day with uncapped earning potential.
• Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000.
• Student loan repayment assistance of $1,000 per month.
• Relocation assistance up to $5,000.
• No lab fees.

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental education program.
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the states of service, or eligibility to obtain licensing.
• Required certifications such as CPR, DEA, and nitrous oxide certification (for LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
• Compassion and strong desire to provide care to both children and adults.
• Willingness and ability to travel to the following locations: 3824 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23222; 400 Southpark Blvd, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
