Position: School Psych | Woonsocket, Rhode Island

This contract-based opportunity offers both part-time and full-time roles for the  academic year, beginning in late August and lasting through mid-June (dates to follow the school calendar). You'll collaborate closely with educational teams and families, supporting student development and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Qualifications

• Active, valid School Psychologist license meeting all Rhode Island state requirements (proof required)
• Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
• Thorough knowledge of psychological assessment tools, RTI/MTSS processes, and IEP development
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to manage caseloads that may vary throughout the school year

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Develop, implement, and monitor interventions to address students' social, emotional, and academic needs
• Participate in special education eligibility meetings, maintaining detailed documentation
• Provide consultative support to teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student well-being and performance
• Deliver individual and group counseling as needed, focused on promoting student growth
