Part‑time Mentor – Check & Connect (One‑Year Program)

Founders Academy is seeking a part‑time mentor to implement the evidence‑based Check & Connect student engagement framework for a one‑year period. The mentor will work individually with a small caseload of middle school students who show warning signs of disengagement (e.g., attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns). Responsibilities include relationship‑building, systematic monitoring, and customized problem‑solving to help students feel supported and stay connected to their education.

$225 per day, one school day per week (maximum 36 days during the school year). Grant‑funded.
