Mll Instructional Partner

Function:
The MLL Instructional Partner will provide supplemental instructional support to the classrooms where the MLL Instructional Coach is providing professional development or professional development on MLL best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in professional development with the district Director of Multilingual Learners
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher designed to assist in continuity of instruction
• Provide teacher support within the classroom when the educator is attending professional development
• When not assigned to a classroom, the MLL Instructional Partner will shadow the MLL Instructional Coach or an MLL teacher
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• The applicant must have completed at least two years of post-secondary education.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• The applicant should have experience working with multilingual learners and/or experience working with students of linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English or Portuguese/English preferred; working knowledge of additional languages preferred
