National Inspection & Consultants (NIC) is actively mobilizing Level II UTSW Technicians for a high-visibility NAVSEA project in the Northeast. We are looking for technicians who are ready to go NOW.

This is a long-term opportunity supporting defense and shipbuilding programs. Serious candidates only — documentation must be in hand.

• Perform Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) inspections on structural welds
• Calibrate and operate UT equipment per NAVSEA procedures
• Interpret and evaluate indications to applicable acceptance criteria
• Maintain complete and accurate inspection documentation
• Work in shipyard environments (heights, confined spaces, physical conditions required)
• Comply with all safety and quality requirements

• Current Level II UT Certification (ASNT SNT-TC-1A or employer-based program)
• Documented UT classroom training hours
• Documented UT OJT hours
• Proven experience performing UTSW on welds
• Ability to pass stringent background screening
• NAVSEA experience is strongly preferred.

• U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED – ITAR applies.
