Accounting Manager

Overview

Camino is partnering with a PE-backed, fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of specialist industrial products to find their first dedicated Finance Manager in the US. The US business is in an exciting growth phase.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a finance professional who's a self-starter, builds processes from the ground up, and navigates a complex multi-state compliance environment. You'll manage the day-to-day finance function, with one direct report, and report into the Group Financial Director.

• Running day-to-day financial operations for the US entity
• Ensuring US reporting is aligned with US GAAP and feeding into group consolidation
• Managing multi-state statutory filings — Annual Reports, SOS, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax.
• Processing bi-weekly payroll and managing compliance obligations
• Overseeing credit control and cash collections, with one direct report into this role
• Managing payment runs, supplier relationships, and invoice processing
• Supporting external audits and annual tax filings
• Assisting with cash management, forecasting, and building out a budget process
• Monitoring stock levels and supporting warehouse scheduling and capacity planning
• Building and improving financial processes and controls

• Experience in a US-based finance management or senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
• Someone who's compliance-driven and detail-oriented
• Comfortable owning a function
• Experience managing or mentoring others
• Familiarity with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or a product-led business preferred
