This person will join a five‑person team and report to the Director & Controller, Fund Accounting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is flexible to take on whatever task is needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with weekly cash activity reporting
- Prepare and track fund capital calls and distributions
- Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements
- Interact and coordinate with auditors as needed
- Respond to ad‑hoc limited partner requests
- Prepare wire transfers
- Ad‑hoc reporting and special projects as necessary
- Miscellaneous responsibilities as deemed appropriate and needed within the finance team
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably within a Big 4 public accounting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or working toward CPA strongly preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Workday and Investran a plus, but not required
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of conscientiousness to work product
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
