Position Overview

This person will join a five‑person team and report to the Director & Controller, Fund Accounting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is flexible to take on whatever task is needed.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Assist with weekly cash activity reporting
  • Prepare and track fund capital calls and distributions
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements
  • Interact and coordinate with auditors as needed
  • Respond to ad‑hoc limited partner requests
  • Prepare wire transfers
  • Ad‑hoc reporting and special projects as necessary
  • Miscellaneous responsibilities as deemed appropriate and needed within the finance team
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably within a Big 4 public accounting environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or working toward CPA strongly preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Workday and Investran a plus, but not required
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high level of conscientiousness to work product
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
