Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions. Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patients at the point of admission. Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.
RequirementsHigh school graduate
Training and ExperiencePreferably a graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Special QualificationsMust have Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician II License. Skills in math, typing, and computers are necessary.
SchedulePer Diem, employees who agree to be available for 6 shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts.
