Early Intervention - Speech-Language Pathologist (Full Time)

Sign on Bonus: $2500
Pay range: $34-$36/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers (ages 03), who are experiencing delays in communication and feeding disorders. This role involves providing home‑based services to support communication development in young children and coaching families through education and collaboration.

Scope of Practice
  • Addressing articulation delays or disorders.
  • Encouraging vocabulary growth, sentence structure, and social communication.
  • Assisting children with difficulties in sucking, chewing, swallowing, or transitioning to solid foods.
  • Socio-pragmatic skills.
  • Empowering caregivers with strategies to support communication and feeding during daily routines, and providing education on developmental milestones and how to encourage progress at home.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized family treatment plans (IFSP).
  • Provide direct therapy services in natural environments (home, daycare).
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IFSP development.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
  • Rhode Island SLP license (or eligibility).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
