We are seeking a skilled and flexible Float Registered Nurse (RN) with strong cardiac experience to join our team in Rhode Island. This role requires the ability to work across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units (PCU) during night shifts. Ideal candidates will have experience caring for post-cardiac cath and cardiac patients, and be confident in handling diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.



Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in Med/Surg, Tele, and PCU environments
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Care for post-cardiac cath patients and patients with acute cardiac diagnoses
• Administer medications and manage IVs, oxygen, and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Accurately document assessments and interventions using hospital EMR
• Float between assigned units based on staffing needs
• Participate in every other weekend rotation

• Active RN license in Rhode Island or compact state (Required)
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA) – Must be active at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience (Required)
• Cardiac care experience, including post-cath patients (Required)
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to multiple unit types
